The report coming from Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos revealed that Nigerian voluntary returnees from the United Kingdom are said to be stranded again in Lagos airport.
The initial plan was for them to join another flight to Abuja, where they will be quarantined for some days.
But it is not happening at the moment as the returnees told reporters that they are yet to hear from Nigeria’s authority since they arrived Lagos.
It was stated that their flight touched Nigeria by 1:30 pm, and they have spent over four hours stranded again in their own country.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama has apologised to the returnees.
