Chelsea transfer Chief, Marina Granovskaia has been busy since the inception of the summer transfer window and has delivered yet another deal.
Batshuayi has left Chelsea after the departure of Abraham on Tuesday.
The blues confirmed this in a statement via their website on Wednesday that Michy left the club to join Besiktas on a season-long loan.
“Michy Batshuayi has today extended his contract at Chelsea until 2023 and joined Besiktas on loan for the season”.
The Belgian star moved to Chelsea from Marseille in 2016 but has been regularly loaned out to other clubs.
Michy spent time on loan at Dortmund and Valencia, before two spells at Crystal Palace, with the Belgium international now heading to Turkey.
However, he has also scored 25 goals in 77 Chelsea appearances, including one which clinched the Premier League title at West Brom in May 2017.
With just two weeks to go in this summer’s transfer window, the rumour mill has churned into overdrive as teams across the continent scramble to improve their squads.
While certain sections of the blues fan base were disappointed that Chelsea had to settle for yet another of their infamous loan deals, the folks over in Turkey seemed chuffed to bits with their business.
The striker latest move marks the fifth time he has been sent out on loan since joining Chelsea from Marseille in 2016.
Michy is unlikely to be the last man to walk through the Stamford Bridge exits this summer, with it reported that Chelsea is also looking to offload Kouma, Barkley, Drinkwater and Bakayoko on either loan or permanent deals.
