Former Nigeria president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has met with some governors of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and chieftains of the party who paid him a visit.
Recall that there have been calls for the former president to contest the 2023 election.
He has celebrated his 63rd birthday and some big politicians have gathered to paid him a visit in his Abuja house.
According to DailyPost, those who visited the former president include: Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni; Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu and Jigawa State Governor, Abubakar Badaru.
Also an ex-President of the Senate, who is a chieftain of the APC, Ken Nnamani, was on the visit.
It is, however, not clear if the APC chieftains had presented a Presidential proposal to Jonathan during the visit.
Jonathan lost the 2015 election to President Muhammadu Buhari after he has served Nigeria as number one citizen for six years.
He completed Yar’Adua’s tenure of two years, used a fresh tenure for four years and the constitution still allows him for another term of four years.
