match, Arsenal fans came out and reacted to their star player’s performance.Mikel Arteta used an unlikely lineup for today’s match, with Folarin Balogun leading the front line for the gunners. Sambi Lokonga and Ben White both made their debuts for Arsenal. It was Sambi Lokonga’s first ever Premier League game. Alexander Lacazette and Aubameyang were excluded from today’s squad to face Brentford. Mikel Arteta made it clear that the duo wasn’t fit to play today.Arsenal had a great start to the match. They dominated play in the opening minutes of the first half but couldn’t create any big chances of scoring. Brentford scored the first goal of the 2021/22 Premier League season after Sergi Canos scored a brilliant goal from Ethan Pinnock’s assist. Bernd Leno had no chance of keeping the ball out of the goal. It was a clean hit. Brentford held on to their narrow lead till the half time whistle went off.In the second half of the match, Arsenal kept pushing for an equalizer but couldn’t get one. They started well in the opening minutes of the second half, but failed to be creative enough in the second half of the match. Bukayo Saka replaced Folarin Balogun in the second half of the match and the mood of the game changed for Arsenal. Mikel Arteta still needs to make a few adjustments to his squad. It’s just the first game of the season, 37 more games to play.Brentford’s lead was extended to 2-0 in the second half of the match. They were already heading to victory at that point. Mikel Arteta ran out of options for his substitutes. They lacked players with more quality on the bench.

Arsenal fans were not impressed with Pablo Mari’s performance in today’s match. The Spanish defender failed to deliver his best for the Gunners in today’s match. Pablo Mari might not see much playing time this season after this performance in today’s match.
