Premier League is back and the first rounds of matches have been completed but for Chelsea point of view their new striker was unavailable in their first game against Crystal Palace.
Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, has provided the latest update on Romelu Lukaku ahead of his side’s Premier League clash with Arsenal on Sunday.
Tuchel said Chelsea will prepare Lukaku to play against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Tuchel’s men head to the game following a 3-0 win against Crystal Palace last weekend.
Lukaku did not feature for Chelsea against Palace at Stamford Bridge, having newly joined the Blues from Inter Milan this summer.
“We expect Romelu to finish quarantine in time to be able to join team training on Tuesday, because Monday is our day off,” Tuchel was quoted by Chelsea’s official website as saying on Monday.
“So we will try to prepare him to play against Arsenal and hopefully he can be on the pitch.”
