Chelsea has been handed a significant injury boost ahead of their second Premier League game against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium next week.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Golo Kante would be available for the Blues training this week and should be among his selection for the Gunners match after injury made him miss the Crystal Palace opener on Saturday.
The France Midfielder was absent as Tuchel Squad defeated Palace with a 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge, thanks to goals from Marcos Alonso, Christian Pulisic and Trevoh Chalobah who gave them all three points.
Sky Sports had reports that Kante was taken off midway through the second half of the UEFA Super Cup victory over Villarreal on Thursday.
“He responded very well in the warm-up to the final match with Villarreal and he played a little bit with the pain,” Tuchel was quoted by Football London.
“But yesterday, he feels the same pain and we decided to take full responsibility by taking him out to avoid any risks.
“N’Golo should be back on Wednesday and be ready for Sunday Battle.
