Bad news in Stamford Bridge over Thomas Tuchel’s second signing for Chelsea

European Champions league winner, Chelsea and Thomas Tuchel have been hit with a bad news from Spain as the player that could be the second signing for the Blues after welcoming a new goalkeeper could not be completed at least for now.

Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for Sevilla centre back Jules Kounde in recent weeks as Manager Thomas Tuchel is Keen on bolstering his defense line ahead of next season.

However according to the Sun Football, the Blues offer of £30m plus Kurt Zouma moving the other way for the highly rated defender Jules Kounde in a cash plus player swap deal has been rejected by the Laliga outfit. Moreover the report claim that Sevilla are demanding a fee in the region of £68m for their prized asset, who still has a contract at the club until 2024.The 22 year old’s eye catching performances for Sevilla last season, has attracted interest from top European clubs, with Manchester United, Real Madrid and Tottenham all keeping tabs on the defender and where he ends up this summer remains to be seen.

Should Thomas Tuchel’s led side succeed in bringing in Jules Kounde to Stamford bridge this summer, then he will form a formidable partnership with veteran Thiago Silva in the heart of Chelsea’s defense line next season.
