Big news from Stamford Bridge as Chelsea complete the signing of a world-class player

Big news coming from Stamford Bridge on Saturday has it that Todd Boehly and Chelsea have finally completed another summer transfer signing.

Following several weeks of hurdles in negotiations with Premier League side, Leicester City regarding star defender, Wesley Fofana, Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea have finally managed to convince the Foxes into accepting their offer for the French international.

As confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, the Blues have struck a £75million agreement with the East Midlands based club, with the two parties now signing off contracts to complete the deal in the next few hours.

Meanwhile, the 21 year old is expected to put pen to paper a six-year contract at the Stamford Bridge once he passes his medical examinations, a deal that will see him ply his trade at the West London until at least 2028.Fofana now becomes Chelsea’s second marque center-back signing after Senegalese international, Kalidou Koulibaly and their move to the Stamford Bridge is no doubt a massive boost for Thomas Tuchel who majorly relies on defensive type of play.
