Big news in Italy as Super Eagles star joins Italian club

Another deal has been completed in the ongoing January transfer window as the deadline day is going on with the last minute rush.

Italian club-side Parma Calcio football club have confirmed the signing of Super Eagles of Nigeria star Simy Tochukwu Nwankwo from fellow Italian clubside Salernitana FC, on a short loan deal with the option to buy at the end of the season.The Nigerian international had a remarkable 2020/2021 season with Crotone football club before they were relegated to the Italian serie B at the end of the season, and that’s why he was signed by Salernitana FC for the region of £5 million.

Simy Nwankwo was unable to replicate last season’s form with Salernitana FC, and he only scored two goals for them in all competitions.

The Nigerian’s poor form made him to lose his spot in the starting eleven, and he has only made few appearances for the club this season.

Simy has been linked with a move away from Salernitana FC since the January transfer window opens, and he was linked with a lot of clubs before Parma Calcio football club won the race, and he has been given the number 99 jersey.Reacting after signing Simy Tochukwu Nwankwo on a short loan deal, Parma Calcio football club posted on their verified Twitter handle on Monday that;
