BREAKING: Bad news in Lagos as many feared killed after another building collapses

In less than a month after a horrible incident happened in Lagos that killed scores of people there has been another bad news in Lagos again that another building has collapsed.

Sunrisenewsnigeria understands that it was the same issue with building under construction coming down like it happened about two weeks ago, same in Lagos.

It’s a storey building under construction which collapsed on Wednesday at Flour Mill Estate in the Magbon area of Badagry in Lagos as the story narrated.

Margaret Adeseye, Director, Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, confirmed the tragedy in a statement.

Adeseye said four persons have been rescued while an operation is underway to pull out those trapped.

The official confirmed that the victims are mainly construction workers.

They sustained varying degrees of injury but are in stable condition at nearby hospitals where they were rushed to.

“Four adults male have been recovered (unconscious) thus far.

“Nigeria Police, Morogbo Division and community dwellers are complimenting rescue efforts”, the statement added.

The latest incident occurred two weeks after the Ikoyi building collapse which killed 45 people.

Lagos State authority needs to work harder to prevent more building collapsing as many builders have been found guilty of not keeping to the rules and regulations in putting these buildings on the ground.
