BREAKING: English club sack manager and Ex Chelsea captain tips to take over

The new 2021/2022 football season is currently underway with several clubs hoping to play their best and be in good positions in order to avoid relegation.

Several underperforming managers have been under intense pressure to give good results or face sacking with Mikel Arteta being one of them.

According to football daily news reports, Nottingham Forest have decided to sack Chris Hughton making them the first English club to relief their manager off duty.

Nottingham Forest released a statement that read: “The club would like to place on record its’ appreciation for Chris’s efforts. Chris joined the club in a difficult period for everyone in football and around the world and we thank him for the way he has conducted himself during his tenure.

Steven Reid will take temporary charge of the first team as interim head coach.”

Former Chelsea Captain, John Terry was in contention to take over the job as several reports linked him to this major managerial job, but it will take some time for the club’s hierarchy to decide.
