BREAKING: Nigeria records 87 new cases of COVID-19, total moves to 1,182

The number of confirmed cases of the deadly coronavirus in Nigeria has moved to 1,182 as announced by the authority of the country in the fight of the virus.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday night confirmed that 87 new cases were recorded.

NCDC, made the breakdown of the cases as: Lagos State recorded 33, Borno State 18, Osun State 12 and Katsina State with 9 cases.

Others are four cases in Kano and Ekiti State, three in Edo and Bauchi State and one case in Imo Stae

As it stands, the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria is 1182, with 222 persons discharged and 35 deaths
