BREAKING: Two Chelsea players make history as Spain end Italy unbeaten run

Finally now, Spain have put an end to the unbeaten run of Italy as they were eliminated from the UEFA Nations League.

And we can confirm that two Chelsea 0layers have also made another history in UEFA competition.

Undoubtedly, year 2021 has been the year for Chelsea supporters and their players, as they have achieved numerous things that few would have tipped them to achieve at the beginning of the year. The blues won the UCL last may, defeating Manchester City in the final, having not made any significant change to their playing squad in the summer, most of the players who helped the club defeat Manchester City in Porto were present again as Chelsea defeated Villarreal in the UEFA Super Cup final. With Italy, Spain, Belgium, and France participating in the UEFA nation’s league semi-final ties, Chelsea will have the chance of having a representative at another major final this year again. The first semi-final tie of the UEFA nation’s league that took place between Euro 2020 champions, Italy and Luis Enrique’s men ended in a 1-2 victory for the Spanish national team which means they are set to face the winner between Belgium and France in the final. Just like in the Euro 2020 tournament, all the four teams competing in the UEFA Nations league has at least a Chelsea player in their squad, which means that no matter what happened, one Chelsea player will still end up being crowned on Sunday. In their game against Italy, Spain lined up with two Chelsea players in Ceaser Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso. As it stands now, Spain will be competing in the final on Sunday, which means both Alonso and Azpilicueta will be participating in their third UEFA final in five months, having taken part in the UEFA Champions League against City on the 29th of May this year, before featuring for the club in the UEFA Super Cup in August. Although they won in the last two major finals they took part in, and it remains to be seen if they can make it three wins in three major finals this year.
