Breaking: WHO declares coronavirus a pandemic, death toll rises above 4,000

World Health Organisation has declared the deadly coronavirus a pandemic and it has led to the death of more than 4,000 people around the countries of the world.

WHO made this known on Wednesday 11th of March, 2020 as 118,000 people were affected around the world.

The new coronavirus which started in Wuhan, China has spread to more than 114 countries of the world.

Italy has confirmed that the COVID-19 has affected about 10,000 people across the country. It was reported that about 6,000,000 people have been quarantined in a region of the country.

The coronavirus has affected sporting activities in the country as Serie A league and other sporting activities have been suspended,

In another development, the English Premier League (EPL) suspended the match between Arsenal and Manchester City which were to played today to a further date.

Meanwhile China has recorded improvement in the cases and death from coronavirus.
