Breakthrough at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea leading the race to sign €70m rated striker

Thomas Tuchel will embrace the opportunity to add potent striker to his squad during the summer transfer window as some Chelsea stars could leave Stamford Bridge.

As it stands, the future of both Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku are not so certain at Stamford bridge. This is because, the two strikers seem not to fit into Tuchel’s playing style.

Tuchel prefers to play Kai Havertz at the center forward position other than his two strikers.Sources have it that the blues have identified Darwin Nunez as a potential talent for their center forward position. This youngster is 22 years of age and currently plays for the Portuguese side Benfica. He has bagged in a lots of goals this season despite his young age.

Nunez was the only striker who has given Virgil Van Dijk and Matip much headache in the UCL this season. He is not solely a point striker and that means he might fit into Thomas Tuchel’s style of play. Benfica has placed a €70m price tag on him and other teams are also interested in signing him.
