Celebration at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea agree £65,000-a-week to sign a world-class player
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel and new owner, Todd Boehly are putting their strategy at work to build the Stamford Bridge outfit by signing top class players.
So far in the ongoing summer transfer window, the German tactician is literally finding it hard to convince his top transfer targets in an attempt to strengthen his squad after loosing some of key players like Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen as free agents.
It should be noted that the Stamford Bridge heavyweights were open to signing Matthijs De Ligt by swapping Timo Werner, a deal that was rejected by Juventus.
However according to the Sun Football, Chelsea have now turned their attention to Inter Milan’s defender Milan Skiriniar and willing to pay £65m for the 27 year old centreback.
Meanwhile, Todd Boehly is in direct contact with Manchester City over signing Raheem Sterling with Ousmane Dembele as well tipped to land at Stamford Bridge as a free agent.
