Dramatic scenes at Wembley Stadium yesterday night as Leicester City claim the 2020/2021 FA Cup trophy for the first time in history after a narrow 1-0 win against Champions League finalists, Chelsea.
Going into the game, Chelsea was deemed to be the favorite club to win the trophy but Leicester City showed they wanted it more as they fought their way to victory.
The game was a little bit balance in the early minutes of the first half probably because the atmosphere surrounding the Stadium was quite tense, however, as time went on, Chelsea dominated the game and the Blues looked very dangerous while attacking. The first half ended in a stalemate as both sides failed to hit the target.
Things changed in the second half as dangerous chances flew in from both sides of the pitch. In the 63rd minute, Youri Tielemans’ thunderous long-shot went straight into the top right corner, and eventually, his breathtaking goal turned out to be a trophy-winning goal.
However, Chelsea has an opportunity to earn more money when they face Manchester City in the Champions League final in Portugal on the 29th of May, 2021. If they defeat City, they will win the grand prize of £19,000,000 which is more than 9.5 billion nair
