Tottenham super star striker could be joining Chelsea as reports indicated that they are willing to offer two of their star players for a swap deal.
The Blues are preparing an offer for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane that might involve one or several players in a swap deal, according to ESPN.
Tammy Abraham and Kepa Arrizabalaga are mentioned as the options to be included in an offer.
Abraham has lost his place in the team under Thomas Tuchel, playing just 19 minutes since February 20. Despite that, he’s still Chelsea’s joint-top goalscorer along with Timo Werner (although the latter has 11 assists as opposed to Tammy’s four).
Kepa has featured regularly in the cup competitions but remains a No 2 goalkeeper behind Edouard Mendy who’s likely to start in the Champions League final.
It’s not clear if Tottenham will be tempted by either of those players because it’s not very likely they’ll listen to offers for Harry Kane from Chelsea at all.
The relationship between Roman Abramovich and Daniel Levy is fractious as a result of many factors, including Chelsea’s failed attempt to sign Luka Modric from Spurs in 2011, as well as Willian snubbing Tottenham in the Blues’ favour at the eleventh hour in 2013.
Harry Kane himself might be reticent to move across London even though, if reports are to be believed, he intends to leave Tottenham in the summer as he pursues team trophies.
