Chelsea complete two deals on January transfer deadline day

Chelsea football club have ended the January transfer window with two done deals and Thomas Tuchel will now focused on the task ahead.

As the January Transfer Window is closed and therefore clubs will have to wait for the summer transfer window to strengthen their squad. Chelsea this time around had a fairly quiet transfer window but the London giants were able to complete two deadline day deals.

#1. Joe Edwards Joins Everton

Chelsea assistant manager Joe Edwards has left the club to join Frank Lampard’s coaching staff at Everton. The 35-year-old was promoted to assistant coach with the men’s first team following the appointment of Lampard in the summer of 2019.

He became instrumental in the development of the young players. He remained in the role under Tuchel and was part of the German’s backroom staff that won the Champions League.

#2. Tino Anjorin joins Huddersfield

Tino Anjorin will spend the rest of the season at Huddersfield Town in the Championship on loan from Chelsea.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder made eight appearances during his time in Russia and scored his only goal for the club on his debut in the Europa League against Marseille.
