Chelsea could pay €90m to re-sign former star player during the summer transfer window

After Chelsea failed to sign any player in the winter transfer window, all eyes are on the Stamford Bridge outfit to land in more world-class players during the summer transfer window.

The Blues recorded their eight draw in the ongoing 2020/21 English Premier League campaign, after playing 0:0 with the Red Devils at Stamford Bridge yesterday.

Chelsea are willing to bolster their attacking department when transfer window re-opens, as they are willing to reunite with their former player who has established himself as a prolific striker.

The 27-year old prolific striker has scored 18 goals in 23 Serie A matches he has played this season, and he has a valuation worth €90million currently.

He left Chelsea FC in 2014, after Everton paid a transfer fee worth €35.36million was paid to Thomas Tuchel’s team Chelsea FC.

If Chelsea could sign him in summer, he would be a potential replacement for 34-year old Olivier Giroud who is likely to exit Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

In your opinion do you think Chelsea should pay €90million to secure Romelu Lukaku in the coming summer transfer window?
