Chelsea fans are happy as the Blues given green light to complete £250,000-a-week deal for a world-class player

CHELSEA were not busy during the January transfer window and they are looking to make amends duringthe summer transfer window.

Barcelona outcast was one of Thomas Tuchel’s best target in January.

According to the ongoing reports, Stamford Bridge outfit, Chelsea have been given the green light to make a move and offer Ousmane Dembele a contract

Despite the fact the club are still in the midst of takeover talks, and despite the fact that no deals can officially be confirmed, It doesnt stop the club making moves to try and get some players pre-signed up.

It is obvious that the new owners will be announced very soon and it is also very obvious that new players will be coming to the club in the transfer window, and Dembele is a plan that is all over the transfer headlines

The France forward, 24, has failed to agree a new contract at the Nou Camp, with his current deal set to expire this summer, and that has led to alot of speculation that he could come to the Premier League

Now, IcFootballnews has learned that Barca have given up hope of trying to keep Dembele at the club and will allow him to leave the club at the end of the season and get his £250,000-a-week wages off the bill

The Spaniards knows that they will be looking to bring a few players to the club – but will need to make some space first as they need to get that wage budget down

It would be an interesting signing for Chelsea, as we would all be interested to see just how he would manage to play in the Premier League when he has been unable to succeed in La Liga

He could be a world class player, but we firmly believe that he would not be able to make an impact for Chelsea, he is not the same player.

Xavi may want him to stay at the club – but that is because the Barca boss will not have the funds to sign an immediate replacement

But as we said – this will be an interesting one to keep an eye on as there will continue to be alot of speculation about the long-term future of the Frenchman guys
