Chelsea fans unhappy as three super stars are out of Champions League game against Rennes

Chelsea fans are unhappy right now because at least three super stars have been ruled out against Rennes in the Champions League clash at Stanford Bridge.

Recall that Chelsea is sitting on the log as the leader after gaining four points after two games.

Chelsea and America winger, Christian Pulisic suffered an injury before the Chelsea Premier League clash with Burnley and Frank Lampard expects to be without the winger in this coming Champions League match.

Pulisic was due to start Saturday’s victory over Burnley but had to pull out of the warm-up, and was replaced in the starting line-up by Timo Werner.

“I felt sorry for Christian, he felt his [hamstring] in the warm-up so hopefully he is back soon,” said Mount after the game.
Kepa Arrizabalaga missed the game against Krasnodar and Burley as he continues to recover from a knock which kept him out of the Manchester United game.

But Lampard said the Spaniard is making good progress.

Though Kepa is no more Chelsea no 1 goalkeepers and Chelsea fans may not miss him due to his recent poor performance.
Billy Gilmour is set to miss the UCL match on Wednesday. The young lad has surgery on the knee a few months ago and he had returned to Cobham but he’s not fully fit to feature in the match.
