The report from Germany indicates that the long talked about and long awaited transfer deal for Bayern Leverkusen midfielder, Kai Havertz has finally been approved by Chelsea board.
Fans of the blues are already posting their welcome message to welcome the talented player and they are happy to have him.
Chelsea have finally made a breakthrough in talks with Bayer Leverkusen to sign their star player and will make the midfielder their club-record signing, according to reports in Germany.
The West London giants are on the verge of smashing their transfer record to sign Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen in a deal worth £90million.
Chelsea have been relentlessly pursuing the German star over the past few months and are now finally set to get the deal over the line. That represents the biggest fee Chelsea have ever spent on a player, eclipsing the £71.6m they spent on Kepa Arrizabalaga when he signed from Athletic Bilbao two years ago.
According to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, the Blues have now agreed a deal to sign Havertz from Leverkusen. On Monday afternoon, he tweeted that Chelsea are “one step away” from securing the German prospect. He claims a “total agreement” will be reached in the next few hours and the “last bid will be accepted.”
