Chelsea News: Frank Lampard receives a boost ahead of Newcastle game

As the international break is over after Chelsea stars had a busy schedule, all attention has now been shifted to the English Premier League

Chelsea FC have received an important boost on the fitness front ahead of their trip to Newcastle United tomorrow as midfielder Kai Havertz returns to training.

Havertz missed Chelsea’s league win over Sheffield United before the International break after he tested positive of Covid19 and has since been self Isolated.

However the German midfielder who joined Chelsea from Bayern Leverkusen in the last transfer window has now fully recovered from the virus and would be available for selection this weekend.

Havertz has enjoyed a positive start to life in the English Premier league and as he continues to gradually getting use to the league. His return will be a huge boost for Frank Lampard who has made the young German midfielder a key part of his squad.

Chelsea supporters will hope that the club continues their recent new found form tomorrow and get all the three points when they take on Steve Bruce’s side at St James Park.
