Chelsea star player sets new UCL record as the Blues beat Real Madrid 3-1 to face Man City in final

Chelsea have done it as they are through to the final of UEFA Champions League after beating Real Madrid 2-0 on the night at Stamford Bridge.

Thomas Tuchel’s side played 1-1 with Zinedine Zidane tutored side in Spain in the first leg, making 3-1 on aggregate.

Manchester City had booked their place in the final after beating PSG. The final is set up as City will face Chelsea to determine who will win the trophy.

Timo Werner equalled Michael Ballack Record as the German player with the most Champions League goals for Chelsea on Wednesday Night. Werner Opened the scoring for the blues in the 28th minutes to put Chelsea 2-1 up on aggregate in the tie.

Chelsea where clearly the better side in the first half and where unlucky not to be 2-0 Up after Timo Werner had a goal rulled out for offside.

The blues have dictated the tempo of the game with N’Golo Kante running the show from the middle of the park. Real Madrid had some clear cut chances in the first half but where denied by the Brilliant Eduoard Mendy who made two spectacular saves from Karem Benzema.

Werner also became the first Chelsea player to be directly involved in 22 goals in all competitions this season (12 goals & 10 assists), the most of any Chelsea player.
Chelsea are 45 minutes left from reaching their third champions league finals in their history.
