Chelsea FC have occupied 5th position in the English Premier League table after another defeat away to Wolves
Recall that the Blues lost their game before Tuesday match to Everton by a lone goal.
The fans of the club have not been having a good feeling after back to back defeat in the ongoing premier league.
But they seem to be doing well in the UEFA Champions League as they remained unbeaten in the first round and they emerged the group leader.
Fans and followers can only hope that they continue their impressive form in the money spinning competition. They however have a hurdle to climb as they are meeting Atletico Madrid in the round of 16.
Back to their lost to Wolves N’Golo Kante has reacted and disclosed why they actually lost the game.
Chelsea were leading but in a dramatic fashion, Wolves came back into the game and got all the three points.
Kante told Amazon Prime and said:
“We are all very disappointed. I think, after the loss against Everton, we wanted to win here. The first half was not so great but we managed to score the first goal and to finish the game by losing is a big disappointment.
“We knew that even when we were not playing that great we were one goal ahead, so we could have managed the game and kept the difference.
“But when they scored [the equaliser] we tried to get back in front and by trying to win the game we conceded many counter-attacks and sàwwqqwwthey scored late and we lost the game.”
The Blues need to get back to winning ways in order to make the fans happy as well as their manager, Frank Lampard.
