Chelsea to pay £47million for a world-class player
Frank Lampard has been told to continue his project at Chelsea and he has identified another star player who is rated one of the best in the world to join his team.
The Blues are still in business of bringing in world-class players to Stamford Bridge in order to improve the quality of the team under Frank Lampard. According to recent reports, Chelsea board are ready to agree a massive deal to complete the signing of ‘world-class’ Dayot Upamencano from RB Leipzig as the French defender has been identified as a major transfer target by Frank Lampard to bring in more quality and also massively improve Chelsea’s defensive line.
22-year Old French international defender Dayot Upamencano has been regarded as one of the best young defenders in Europe as his continued impressive and commanding defensive displays for Leipzig has attracted the interest of several top clubs around Europe. Chelsea have been major admirers of Dayot Upamencano as the Frenchman is viewed as the likely long term replacement for Thiago Silva and the Blues are now working on a massive deal to sign and bring the player to Stamford Bridge.
Dayot Upamencano is quality defender and his excellent defensive ability, reading of the game, his ability to make well timed tackles and interceptions, his excellent passing range from defense will be a huge addition for Chelsea. The arrival of Dayot Upamencano will massively improve the quality of the defense at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea’s director Marina Granovskaia has been reported to be ready to start negotiations with Leipzig in order to complete the signing early like they did with Timo Werner when Chelsea signed him from the German club.
