Chelsea told to pay €80m for Tuchel’s favourite star as board identify Silva’s replacement

Inter Milan want €80 million for HakimiChelsea are interested in bringing Achraf Hakimi to the Stamford Bridge and they’ve been planning on a potential player plus cash deal to convince Inter Milan to sell the 22-year old. The Italian club have now made their stance clear on what they want to let Hakimi leave.

Inter don’t want any swap deal but would prefer the €80 million (£68.5m) valuation of Hakimi in cash. The Blues were hoping to include players like Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri in the deal to reduce Hakimi’s transfer fee, but Inter are not interested.

Chelsea interested in Soyuncu

Following the sale of Fikayo Tomori to AC Milan and the fact that Thiago Silva will soon turn 37, Chelsea are reportedly in need of a new defender. They are now interested in signing Ceglar Soyuncu from Leicester City.

Chelsea are currently monitoring the Turkish defender as they hope to bolster their defence next season. Signing the 25-year could be difficult as Leicester consider him as a crucial member of their team. Manchester United also want the defender and it is claimed that they are ready to begin transfer talks in order to land him.

Chelsea could turn to Lorenzo if Hakimi move fails

Napoli defender Giovanni di Lorenzo could be on his way to Chelsea if the Blues fail in their attempt to sign Hakimi from Inter. Hakimi remains Chelsea number one target for the wing-back position but they will have to meet Inter’s huge demands.

Chelsea would turn their attention to Lorenzo if a move for Hakimi doesn’t materialize. The 27-year old is an important figure at Napoli. He registered 4 goals and 8 assists last season.

Rudiger is committed to staying at Chelsea

There has been a halt in Antonio Rudiger’s contract extension. Chelsea are yet to begin contract renewal negotiation with the defender who has just one year left on his current contract with the club.

Rudiger has now made his intention known about being committed to the club. He is ready to remain at Chelsea next season to see out his contract even though there has been no renewal talks from the London club. The 28-year old would love to sign a long-term contract but he will wait and then leave for free next year if Chelsea do not offer him any.
