Chelsea are reported ready to make a huge statement during this summer transfer window, with a potential £200m deal up for grabs.
The Blues are looking to overhaul their squad with talents this summer, as they look to assemble a team that would perfectly execute the plan and tactics of their wonderful manager Thomas Tuchel, who won the UEFA Champions League for them last season.
According to a report released by Goal, Chelsea have made contact with clubs and agents as they aim for a double summer deal of Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland and Inter full-back Achraf Hakimi.
Chelsea are looking to flex their financial muscles again, as any deal for Borussia Dortmund star Erling Braut Haaland would not only break the club’s transfer record and wage structure but would also break Premier League transfer records too.
However, It remains unseen whether Chelsea will be able to pull through in such a deal this summer. As they could either make a full move for the Norwegian this summer or wait until 2022,when his price drops.
It is believed that the striker could be allowed to leave for a fee in the region of £70m by the summer of 2022.The Blues also have their eyes set on Inter Milan star Hakimi and have also made contact with his Italian employees. The Blues are very much willing to match Paris Saint-Germain’s £56.1m reported approach for the Morocco star.
However, Inter value Hakimi at £68.8m and may not accept any deal lower than that, though they are prepared to part ways with the versatile midfielder who has made name at the club.
