Thomas Tuchel has his plans set up when Chelsea face Atletico Madrid in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League game on Wednesday at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea will be without some of their key players as they play Atletico Madrid at home for the return leg of their champions league game. The likes of Mason Mount, Thiago Silva, Jorginho and Tammy Abraham are all set to miss the fixture.
Thiago have not featured in Chelsea’s last 3 or 4 games and the blues have not really felt the impact of his absence. But this will be the first game Mount and Jorginho will be both be missing in that midfield.
Tuchel will have to make do with what he has in order to get the most out of his squad. He will have to bring in some key players. I believe the German tactician will bring in Hudson-Odoi ahead of Hakim Ziyech as he be needing a whole of Physicality for this game.
Kovacic will also be starting alongside Kante in that midfield. As Reece James and Chilwell will also be featured.
