After a long time of premier league football, chelsea fans would be very excited because Chelsea will gear up for the new Premier League season with a pre-season friendly match at Brighton this afternoon.

According to reports, some of Chelsea new signings are likely going to be making their first appearance for the club. New signings Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech and a number of youngsters are likely to be involved in the game at the Amex Stadium.

The match will kick off at 3pm and as part of the government plans to allow crowds back into sporting events following the coronavirus outbreak, two thousand five hundred tickets have been made available for the home fans, but Chelsea supporters can’t attend the match.


Werner, Ziyech and some returning players might get their first outings, but fellow new arrivals Ben Chilwell, Malang Sarr and Thiago Silva won’t feature in the match today.

Ethan Ampadu after his spell out on loan may get to start today’s match.

According to reports Timo Werner is looking forward and excited to making his first apperance for the blues following his big-money transfer from RB Leipzig.

The game will be a huge boost to Frank Lampard as it will gives Frank Lampard a chance to assess and coordinate his squad before the season begins.

Werner told Chelsea’s website today that he was very excited about the match. Let’s hope for a great entertainment today.
