Football club managers are not very happy when they are not having their full squad to compete for vital points as it is the case of Chelsea.
The Blues will be hosting Everton on Monday at Stamford bridge, as they continuously fight for a spot in EPL Top four table. The Blues will be aiming to extend their unbeaten record under Thomas Tuchel, which have seen them won 7 matches, out of there last 10 games in all competitions, swatting Liverpool in their last premier league game by 1-0.
It will be another Merseyside team, as the Blues aim at cementing a top four spot by winning Carlos Ancelotti’s team. Everton are also in the race for top-four, which makes the game a very tough one. But Chelsea are in good form and there morale are also high at the moment, so let’s see who will win the game by Monday.
*. Now let’s look at some players who might not play the game because of injury or another issue.
1. Thiago Silva: The Brazilian defender has been out of Chelsea team since he got injured early last month against Tottenham. The former PSG Man has missed seven games for the club, but he has returned from the thigh muscle injury and has trained with the squad. Tuchel might not risk one of his best player, which he confirmed before the clash against Liverpool.
The Everton game could come too soon for the Brazilian, but he will be getting into action very soon maybe against Leeds United.
2. Tammy Abraham: the English man has been absent from the team in 2 games now. Chelsea Boss Thomas Tuchel confirmed that, his striker is dealing with an ankle injury and wouldn’t be thrown into action very soon. So Tammy Abraham is likely to miss the game against Everton on Monday, but might also return in the game against leads United.
3. Callum Hudson-Odoi: the England player was substituted at halftime against Manchester United, which ended in a 0-0 draw. He was seen with an ice pack which was trapped in his left thigh.
Tuchel did not confirm whether the player was injured or not, but the Boss said that Odoi was taken out of the game for tactical reasons.
