The confirmed cases of coronavirus in Nigeria have jumped to 30 as three are three new cases of the deadly disease which is also known as COVID-19 in Lagos State
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on Sunday via its Twitter handle.
“Two cases are returning travelers and one is a contact of a confirmed case”
“As of 05:28 pm on the 22nd of March, there are 30 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. 2 have been discharged with no deaths,” the statement stated.
The index case in Nigeria is an impoted one from an Italian man, which has been discharged after he recovered from COVID-19.
