The on going English Premier League for 2019/2020 season has been suspended till April 4th 2020 because of the spread of the coronavirus, also known as COVID-19.
All fixtures of the EPL will not hold, until April 4.
Recall that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi were both tested positive for the coronavirus.
“Following a meeting of shareholders today, it was unanimously decided to suspend the Premier League with the intention of returning on 4 April, subject to medical advice and conditions at the time,” the Premier League revealed in a statement.
In the same vein, Everton also announced their entire first-team squad and coaching staff have been told to self-isolate after a player reported symptoms consistent with COVID-19.
