“Don’t ruin Chelsea”, Nigerian politician tells UK government

Chelsea fans and supporters have been reacting to what their darling club will suffer after UK government sanctioned the Stamford Bridge outfit.

And now, Nigerian politician, former senator that represented the good people of Kaduna, Shehu Sani has lent his voice to what is affecting CHELSEA.

Shehu took to his social media handles, the human rights activist begged the United Kingdom authorities to not ruin Chelsea football club because of the misunderstanding they have with Russia.

In his words, he penned this

The UK Authorities should not ruin @ChelseaFC because of their anger over Russia. The Club and its owner have nothing to do with the Ukraine war. If war has rules, sanctions should also”

Furthermore, he penned all these according to a recent post he made on his verified Twitter handle.

Below is the screen capture of the post.

You could recall that the United Kingdom levied heavy sanctions on Chelsea. Firstly, Roman Abramovich got his assets frozen by Britain. Also, Chelsea will not be allowed to sell tickets to supporters with only season ticket holders able to attend games for the foreseeable future.
