EndSARS: President Buhari finally takes decision on people who lost their lives at Lekki shooting

The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has finally take a decision concerning those who lost their lives during peaceful protests in Lagos State.

The President took to his Twitter page and said that he is in support of the Judicial Panel of inquiry set up by the state because of the people who lost their lives during the Protests.

Recall that on Tuesday some men in military uniforms were seen firing gunshots at Protesters at Lekki Toll Gate area of Lagos State.

The president’s speech after the violence broke out was followed by mixed reactions as many people said that nothing was said concerning People who died during the protests and that because the president did not mention Lekki shooting in his address to Nigerians.

But now President Buhari has come out to say that he is confident that Justice will be done for all protesters who lost their lives as well as law enforcement agents who also died during the violence.

“The Judicial Panel of Inquiry set up by the Lagos State Govt has my full support,as it commences sitting this week. I‘m confident that all the State Panels will help ensure justice is done on behalf of the peaceful protesters and law enforcement agents who sadly lost their lives,” President Buhari assured Nigerians.
