Fabrizio Romano breaks Chelsea’s contact of Gabriel Jesus

CHELSEA have continued to make their presence felt during the period leading to the summer transfer window as they look to rebuild the team.

The Blues was embroiled in a transfer dispute involving at least two other English clubs, and perhaps more.

The club has found itself in a precarious position, with Romelu Lukaku now set to return to Inter Milan this summer, or at least that is what all the clubs involved are working on.

Chelsea will be a replacement and many names have been touted.

The latest is Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesús, who will leave the club this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano, who spoke today in Out of Play.

“There are five teams that contact the representatives of Gabriel Jesus, not just Arsenal,” explained Romano. “Chelsea have been in contact in recent weeks.

“Gabriel will leave Manchester City, 100%, and Arsenal wants him at all costs as an important player. Manchester City is asking between 50 and 55 million euros for the Brazilian: in the next few days, obviously, the job.”

It looks like Arsenal is pushing too hard to sign him here, but Chelsea is looking at a potential deal and will let Jesus think.

Perhaps he would like to join his national teammate at Chelsea?
