Former Chelsea boss and legend of the club, Frank Lampard has revealed and named two players of the Blues that were hard for him to manage while at Chelsea.
Lampard was at Chelsea only for 18 months and was sacked in just his second season at Chelsea after club owner Roman Abramovich fired the club’s all time highest goalscorer.
Frank Lampard was replaced on the 26th of January by former Borrussia Dortmund and PSG Manager Thomas Tuchel, but as the ex England International left the club, he revealed that two Chelsea stars were very hard to manage when he was still at Chelsea.
Lampard told Tuttosport via Haystar TV after he was tasked to explain if there was any fall out with any of the players at Stamford bridge. Lampard said it was difficult to keep all the players happy at the bridge and that his selection at the bridge was basically based on the merit they had in training even though many Chelsea fans said he prefers Mason Mount more than any other player.
Lampard mentioned that Defender Marcos Alonso and Antonio Rudiger were very hard to manage in his time at Chelsea as he couldn’t keep them Happy.
Antonio Rudiger and Marcos Alonso seemed to have found favors in the eyes of new manager Thomas Tuchel especially Antonio Rudiger who seemed to be the German’s favorite at the back ahead of Kurt Zouma who usually played ahead of Rudiger under Frank Lampard.
