passengers in Lagos were stranded as some took to trekking as a fuel tanker catched fire at Toyota Bus near Oshodi area of the State.
Our correspondent was at the scene and reported that the fire caused some damages on the road as well as the bridge leading up to the Airport road.
The tanker reportedly pilled its content on the road that led to the fire outbreak.
The fire fighters as well as Officials of Nigeria Emergency Management Authority NEMA were seen on ground trying to combat the fire.
A lot of people were seen watching how the fire fighters were practically labouring to see that there will be no more damages to the facility in ground.
All the incoming vehicles were stopped and not allow to come close to the scene of the incidence.
As at the time of filling this report, the fire has been quenched but vehicles were not allowed to move yet into the area due to the heat emanating from the road.
There is the need to carry out a complete assessment of the roads and the affected bridge to know the extent of damages done by the incident.
