Good news for Chelsea as Edouard Mendy set to return in days

Chelsea new choice goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy has been reported to be back to play for his club in matter of days and that is coming before an important game.

According to the story, he will only be out of action for just two 14 days, after he substained a minor thigh injury while on international duty with Senegal.

The Senegalesse FA comfirmed last week that Mendy will not be available for their remaining up-coming games, this throw fear in the heart of some Chelsea fans as it was rumoured that their new goal keeper will be out for up to eight weeks.
Edouard Mendy who is part of Chelsea big-spending this summer moved to Stamford Bridge from Ligue 1, to challenge for the number 1 spot at Chelsea after some costly mistake from Kepa Arrizabalaga last season.
The former Rennes keeper has feature just twice for Chelsea, against Tottenham and in the Carabao cup. Mendy who is currently at Chelsea training ground in Cobham were he is recovering. The Blues will face Southampton on the Saturday and Kepa will likely feature for the injured Mendy.
