Good news to Chelsea as Frank Lampard gets injury boost ahead Wolves clash

Good news to Chelsea as Frank Lampard gets injury boost ahead of their next match in the ongoing English Premier League against Wolves.

Chelsea lost their match to Everton on Saturday night and this brought to an end of their seventeen match unbeaten streak. Chelsea played the match without natural wingers as Callum Hudson Odoi and Hakim Ziyech are out with hamstring injuries and Lampard could not risk Christian Pulisic as he felt some discomfort in his muscles. Lampard deployed Werner and his German counterpart Kai Havertz on the wings.

In most of the times Chelsea’s wingers were very silent and Reece James was the only one who was somehow making the right wing look lively. Werner and Havertz were so silent in that they didn’t create so much pressure on the opposing box. Lampard while giving his post match press conference he said Pulisic had trained the whole week but at some point he felt some discomfort in his muscles thus they couldn’t risk him.
He went ahead to say that they will be expecting the American men’s captain on Tuesday as Chelsea will be playing Wolverhampton. The winger will be a greater addition to Lampard’s side as they will be hoping to avade another humiliation on the hands of the Foxes.
