Huge blow to Chelsea as Tuchel’s man offered £400,000 per week to leave Stamford Bridge

Huge blow to Chelsea as Antonio Rudiger has been offered a £400,000-per-week contract to leave Stamford Bridge as January transfer window is loading.

The German defender is nearing the conclusion of his current contract with the Blues and will be free to speak with and sign contracts with international clubs beginning next month.

Thomas Tuchel’s team had tried to persuade the German international to stay longer, but they are now resigned to losing him.

Chelsea reportedly offered an offer of roughly £140,000 per week, but the defender felt he deserved a significantly higher wage on line with the club’s biggest earners.

According to the Daily Mail, preliminary early conversations have shown that Rudiger’s suitors are willing to offer him up to £400,000 per week, including bonuses and add-ons.

Juventus, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, and Real Madrid have all expressed interest in Rudiger, who is 28 years old and would cost roughly £70 million.

Real Madrid are thought to be the club spearheading the race for Rudiger, with whom he has already reached a ‘informal agreement’ to join the Bernabeu.

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are both said to be interested in signing Rudiger from Chelsea.
