Huge boost for Thomas Tuchel as Chelsea have reportedly joined Manchester United in the race to sign Ligue 1 young midfielder this summer.
While the Euro 2020 tournament is till ongoing, Chelsea are keeping close tabs on potential targets ahead of the upcoming Premier League season.
The Blues are been linked with some big names, including Borussia Dortmund attacker Erling Haaland, West Ham’s Declan Rice and Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur.Declan Rice is considered a top target for Thomas Tuchel’s side, but it seems as though the West London club are looking at cheaper alternative due to Rice huge price-tag.
According to The Sun, Chelsea have begin talks to sign Eduardo Camavinga from Rennes this summer.
With the France midfielder having just one year left on his deal, the Ligue 1 outfits are expected to cash in on the 18-year old, and reports claims he could be available for as little as £26million.
However, a report from Get French Football News suggests that Camavinga’s priority is to join Paris Saint-Germain, although they’re yet to make an offer.They also add that Chelsea are pushing for a move, with the Blues now in talks with Camavinga’s agent.
