Huge news from Stamford Bridge as agent confirms £150m rated world-class star joining Chelsea in summer

Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea manager will be looking to bolster his squad during the summer transfer window as the Blues were unable to sign their target players during the winter transfer window.

Declan has continued to be linked to join the Stamford Bridge outfit.

The West Ham United midfilder was scheduled to return to Chelsea this summer, according to football agent Rob Segal, before the club’s off-field problems.

Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Chelsea’s owner, Roman Abramovich, was sanctioned by the UK government.

Segal told Caught Offside, “I think Declan Rice is a little snookered now.” “He intended to return to Chelsea,” says the narrator. That was the industry’s worst-kept secret, but Chelsea isn’t in the same boat anymore.”

Rice is valued at £150 million by West Ham, but Segal believes no team will pay that amount.

“Manchester City don’t need him because they’re well supplied in that position,” the agent added. Is Manchester United willing to take on this challenge?” Will they end up paying £80 million to West Ham for Rice if Paul Pogba goes for nothing? “Wouldn’t it be a fantastic deal for the Glazers?. I’m aware that Rice is valued at more than £150 million.” But there’s a difference between a valuation and what the market is ready to pay.

“However, when all other costs, including as wages, are included in, a club’s budget is still far over £100 million. I’m not sure who will foot the bill. Football isn’t returning to its former financial glory.”
