Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel is not too convinced about the performance of his center forward so far for the Blues across all competitions and he’s looking for a permanent solution.
Chelsea team has not been prolific looking at their recent performances as they look to win another trophy on Saturday.
The Blues have produced some of the most lethal strikers in the world football in recent years, with most of them going on to help the club win numerous trophies with their exceptional goalscoring abilities. Most notable forwards who really transformed the blues into winning machines include Didier Drogba, Diego Costa & Nicolas Anelka.
After the departure of Diego Costa from Stamford bridge in 2017, the West London powerhouse have failed to find a consistent striker. However the emergence of young prospect Armando Broja could change that as the young striker is currently enjoying a stellar campaign on loan at Southampton. The Albania international has remained a menace to opponent’s defenders in the PL this season, with his pace, remarkable dribbling skills, excellent work rate & his clinical finishes. The 20 year old has notched in 6 goals in his 19 PL appearances for soton this campaign including a sensational strike in their 3-2 triump against Tottenham on Wednesday night.
At just 20 years of age, Armando Broja has already shown the potentials of becoming among the best centre forwards to wear the blues shirt & with Romelu Lukaku & Timo Werner failing to impress this season, the promising striker could be the long term solution to Chelsea’s goalscoring woes.
