Chelsea’s hierarchy turned down Frank Lampard’s request to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal, according to reports. Lampard was sacked by Chelsea on Monday having spent 18 months in charge at Stamford Bridge.
Lampard had also been at odds with Chelsea’s board over potential transfers, and it’s understood that the 42-year-old’s insistence on signing West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, who was released by Chelsea at the age of 14, had annoyed members of the hierarchy.

Arsenal still keen on Norwich star despite pending capture
[Emi Buendia remains high on the list of transfer targets for Arsenal, despite the pending arrival of Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid, according to Football London.

Neuhaus has been enjoying a fine season in 2020/21, having bagged five goals and six assists from 25 games in all competitions. His exploits in Germany have not gone unnoticed, with Real Madrid keen on signing the Gladbach star and understandably so, as Los Blancos‘ midfield unit is in need of an injection of fresh blood.
