As Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and the manager of the team, Thomas Tuchel are looking for ways to make the Blues unbeatable, they have decided the solution to achieve this.
Reports have suggested that Abramovich is desperate to sign the Norwegian.
Several reports have linked Erling Haaland to a move to Chelsea in the near future – with some saying he would cost over £110m.
If the Blues were to go for the major move in the summer, they might look to recoup some of that money through transfer sales.
The club expertly used the money they made off the sales of Eden Hazard and Alvaro Morata to fund last summer’s transfer spree and they might look to the squad to see who can be sold this summer as well:
Kepa – £20m
Jorginho – £25m
The Italian has been a man transformed since Tuchel’s arrival and so its difficult to see the midfielder being sold without a thought but with Billy Gilmour slowly emerging, and Jorginho turning 30 this year, it might be the time to sell him.
Tammy Abraham – £30m
Emerson Palmieri – £10m
The full-back is almost officially the 3rd choice option at the club with the re-emergence of Marcos Alonso as the left wing-back option. Emerson has been a steady but limited player with the Blues and would not be a huge miss with Chilwell also in the ranks.
Fikayo Tomori – £25m
The young centre-back was 5th choice at the club this season and was subsequently loaned out to AC Milan in January. The Italian club reportedly have an option to sign the player on a full-time deal if they pay £25m to Chelsea – a deal that could happen in the summer.
