Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia can still sign two players for the club until the transfer deadline on August 31st 11pm.
This summer the Blues have made a record-breaking signing of Romelu Lukaku and it seems that they are not done yet.
Both Jules Kounde and Saul Niguez have been linked with a move to the Stamford Bridge and according to the Express, Chelsea can secure the signings on the last day of the transfer window.
Thomas Tuchel’s side are in need of a centre-back after selling Kurt Zouma to West Ham and Sevilla’s Kounde has been their main target.
However, at the moment, Sevilla are unwilling to budge.
Despite having the likes of N’Golo Kante, Jorginho, Matteo Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Chelsea are eyeing a move for Atletico’s Saul to add a new dimension to their side.
Diego Simeone’s side is willing to negotiate for a fee of £43m, which isn’t a huge amount of money in 2021.
And Granovskaia may want to spend that money and bring in yet a new midfielder.
