Edouard Mendy did very well for Chelsea last season after he emerged as number one choice for Chelsea but things may change next season as the board has been linked with two shots stoppers.
The Blues are looking to sign two goalkeepers this summer as they overhaul their squad in that department.
Third choice shot stopper Willy Caballero has left at the expiry of his contract, while no.2 Kepa Arrizabalaga may depart as well.
That would leave only Edouard Mendy in the squad as a senior goalkeeper.
According to DeichStube in Germany, Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia is targeting Werder Bremen goalkeeper Jiri Pavlenka.
The 29-year-old has impressed over the past four seasons in Germany following his move from Slavia Prague.
Chelsea may even bring in Welsh goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey as their new no.3, following his departure from Crystal Palace, per The Express.
