Dembele triggers €5m clause
Ousmane Dembele cost Barcelona an additional €5 million this weekend as he triggered the latest clause in the deal that saw him sign from Borussia Dortmund in 2017.
Mundo Deportivo reports that playing his 100th game for the club against Alaves enacted the clause.

Ziyech wants to leave Chelsea.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Hakim Ziyech is reportedly keen to leave Chelsea and will request a transfer this summer. The Moroccan doesn’t feel part of Thomas Tuchel’s plans.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says he is following Erling Haaland’s progress and believes the Borussia Dortmund striker will have a “fantastic” career.
Haaland has developed into one of the world’s most prolific forwards having scored 39 goals in 41 appearances for Dortmund since joining from Red Bull Salzburg at the end of 2019.

Solskjaer, who coached Haaland during his time in charge of Norwegian club Molde, reportedly met with the 20-year-old before his move to Germany after United head scout Marcel Bout had watched him play against Liverpool in the Champions League last season.


Frank Lampard is reportedly still being paid his £75,000-a-week salary by former club Chelsea despite being sacked in January.

The Sun claim Lampard has been kept on the payroll and is still due £1.8m in a move designed to mitigate the huge compensation the club have paid previously dismissed managers.


Arsenal can reportedly turn Dani Ceballos’ loan spell from Real Madrid into a permanent deal for just £22m, according reports in Spain.

The Spaniard is in his second season on loan in North London but he has lost his place in recent weeks due to injury and the partnership between Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey.

Ramos asked to take wage cut… to pay Bale (AS)

According to AS reports, Real Madrid are requesting Sergio Ramos take a pay cut so that they can pay Gareth Bale.

The Spanish giants are in talks to renew the centre-back’s contract before it expires at the end of the season.

But they cannot afford to match his current salary and hope he agrees to a reduction so that they can pay Bale the €30 million (£26m/$36m) they will owe him for the next year.


OFFICIAL: Upamecano is a Bavarian

Bayern Munich have announced the signing of Dayot Upamecano on a 5-year deal from RB Leipzig. The Frenchman will join the club on the 1st July 2021.


BURTON Albion are delighted to confirm the signing of winger Danny Rowe on a free transfer until the end of the season.

Rowe was a free agent, having left Ipswich Town last summer after three years at Portman Road, and the 28-year-old can come straight into the reckoning for today’s game at Northampton Town, having been signed and registered in time for the match at Sixfields.
